Our Founders

Jody Murphy CPA, CA, CFP

Eastman Murphy Chartered Professional Accountants is owned and operated by Jody Murphy CPA, CA, CFP.

1991 – Jody graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce Co-op and began working with a National Chartered Accounting (CA) Firm
1993 – Received his CA designation
1996 – Completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course
1998 – Received his CFP designation

Christa Eastman CPA, CGA

2001 – Christa graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Business Administration
2007 – Christa began working with a National Chartered Accounting (CA) Firm
2009 – Received her designation
2011 – Completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course
2012 – Employed as Controller and then VP-Finance for a large private real estate company
2018 – Set up her own accounting firm in St. John’s, NL
